First camping trip with 26 ft travel trailer

I have a 2014 GMC Sierra Z71 5.3 with 3.43 axel ratio. Went on a 200 mile camping trip with my 26 ft travel trailer. Averaged 11 mg but towed excellent over big hills. It never felt under powered. The trailer weighs 5000 pounds with water. Any thoughts on the mpg? Good ? Bad?ab697abbee8438cdf7d49bf3f44f31c6.jpg

I hear a lot of 9-10 mpgs so 11 seems pretty good.

Nice looking setup. Jayco makes a good camper

How did you like it without tow mirrors? I dont think I could deal with it. I towed a car trailer a few times and it drove me nuts not having the big tow mirrors.

I pull a very similar trailer. Your MPG are a couple better than mine... I pull it in M5. I'm kinda heavy footed too... On the tow mirror comment above... I use some mirror extenders that work well. 18000 miles and still love my truck.

I definitely need to invest in tow mirrors. I could see some but not all that was going on around me. I put it in tow/haul mode and cruise control and let the truck do its thing.

Yeah, definitely get the tow mirrors for that job. Life will be much better backing that thing up.
