Stock struts and springs in front. Bell tech lower shocks in back. I think it rides better than stock

Can you provide me model numbers for all involved? I know you said 2509 spindles and 2" shackles, but now you mentioned shocks....

2509 - spindles. 2212 ft - rear shocks 6401 - rear shackle kit with spacers so you can remove the rear block

Thanks! Will look into that package and see what I can come up with....

All from belltech also

Thanks!

After all this time sitting on my shelf, I finally installed the XPEL hood shield I purchased last year....forgot I even had it....I guess better late than never.

Car Audio Build - Phase 2

The beginning of the enclosure......

Strykers, have you or your installer decided how to run speaker wires to the doors yet?

Well that's on my side of the install, and I am using 12ga Phoenix Gold speaker cable. Since I am going fully active I have to run a set for each speaker in the truck. I am sure you are asking about the doors. The trick in getting this cable into the doors is to remove the molex plugs from both the inner door jam and the door. There is enough room in the bottom of the molex to drill out a slot for the cable to go through. I do not have pictures of this as I am not at that stage, but will be next month and I will post pictures for sure.

I have been waiting for 3 weeks on a metal power distro box and brackets I outsourced to a machine shop. I had them made so that I could work on some other projects and Kyle could focus on enclosure design.

Hopefully this shop can get it right, to my specs, because I am a little irritated as to why it has been taking so long, and the excuses I keep getting from that particular shop.......I will leave it at that....

Once we get the enclosure in, phase 2 will be complete and phase 3 (the final phase) can begin, and that is mainly my front door panels, finalize cable management, and tune.

Stay tuned......

Thanks for the reply, can't wait to see the final product.

I am sure there will be some that do not like the design and others will see a different way to go about adding what they want. It's definitely different!

Damn, I haven't checked in on your build in some time now, heck, haven't been on the forum much in a while now, audio system is looking great so far man, I can't wait for the final!

Thanks Mike! About time you changed that profile picture displaying that beautiful grill!

The audio build is in Phase 2 right now, although Phase 0 is still not done due to me having to wait for fabricated parts to finish.

Phase 0 = Power Distribution

Phase 1 = A-Pillars

Phase 2 = Sub-Enclosure/Amp-Rack

Phase 3 = Cable runs & Front Door Modification/Pods

Phase 4 = Rear Door Drivers / Final Tune

In the spring I will be adding all the final parts to my truck that are sitting in my den collecting dust including the Kooks Headers and Willwood big brake upgrade. Looking to probably drop it just a bit to level, still researching how I am going to do it.

BTW, we need to get you hooked up with Kyle for a sound upgrade...lol

Damn son, how do you have them headers just collecting dust?! Need to collect some dirt instead! [emoji16]

Well the A-pillars certainly look awesome! I'm still curious how the amp rack is gonna work out, you still planning to have it motorized? I remember you telling me about it over the phone but that seems like a millennium ago [emoji28] things seem to be coming along quite nicely for you outside of the fabrication shop, hopefully You can get that sorted out soon and get things moving along again

Can't you drop the rear end by just removing the rear block and that sits it close to level? Never looked much into dropping but I feel like I heard that somewhere

Lol I do need a sound overhaul but that's not high on the list. Currently saving for some Move bumpers, winch, different light bars. Those will all go on at once hopefully around Christmas. Winch may hold off

Then I'm overhauling the exhaust with a totally custom one off system Imma build, will have to share details of that with you

Then I'll look into some new audio possibly(: mainly looking to get it a bit louder but still be clean. The Bose is good, but I know there's better

Was going the motorized route, but decided against it due to limitation in space....kinda holding back on pictures until we complete this phase. I can only say it's different than anything out there, and it will show pretty nice with some really quality craftsmanship.

Removing the rear block is an option I am looking into as well as a set of belltech shackles, just don't know yet as to how it will effect bilstein 4600's.....

Yep, I have been stockpiling parts until spring, want to get the audio done first since it's all interior. Not looking forward to leaving my door panels with Kyle next month and losing control of windows....LOL...I have to roll them down every day to get through security checkpoints.....gonna be a hassle explaining..lol
