FIPK and 3" Body Lift

Can this be done?  I've heard that it could and then K&N says it is not designed for a body lift.

 

Has anyone done this and is there some sort of modification you need to do or will it just work.

 

Interested in knowing before I get it.

Well my friend just ordered one for his 95 5.7 4wd with PA 3" body lift.  We will be undertaking this tomorrow or Wednesday.  If we have to modify it we will.  Ill tell you how it all works out.

Yep, it can be done easily.  All you have t do is rotate the tube a little bit.

Mtntom is right on the $$$.  I put a 3" PA body lift on my Z and i did the same thing.  Funny thing is, you're right, K&N says it doens't work w/ a body lift.  Worx fine for me:)  Have fun w/ the lift.  The body lift took me and a buddy less than a day to do.  6" Superlift luspension lift took us 3 days, but we had a blast and I learned a lot and saved tons of $$$.
