Where from!!! I was just coming here to ask those with GMC/Chevy bedrugs how much dod you pay. If theyre cheaper than BedRug brand and are basically the same then im going that route

When I ordered my Bowtie version of the Bedbug, I had the same question. So, I just did a Google search for the Bowtie part number and the Bedrug part number. It turns out there was a dealer in Louisiana that had a Bowtie version that had the best price on eBay. And it was free shipping / no tax. I would have thought the Bedbug version would be cheaper, but not when I ordered mine (October 2013 timeframe).

Ok found them on eBay. So far only see a "2014" silverado bedrug thats 6'6" not sure why its not saying 2015 .. same truck/bed right

Either way i saved it in my watch list, $350 shipped beats $425+ from other places

Thanks for the heads up

love the light!! details? thanks

They are the factory LED bed rail lights. I just installed two sets so I can see everything under my cover at night.

There's a thread all about this mod somewhere. You can save money by buying aftermarket lights and plug right into the trucks harness to turn them on and off.

Since I already had one set of lights from the factory, just spliced in a second set from eBay on each side and I was done.

i am also a fan of the bed mat, the bed rug is a little thicker, but since my 2015 denali has a spray in liner i cannot get the bed mat or rug because they are held in with the loop side of velcro strips and I'm pretty sure that won't stick to the spray in liner.

but i may consider a rubber mat just for the fact things won't slip around on it.

Exact same truck, only difference is the front clip on outside.

Will the GMC 6'6" bedrug fit a silverado?

See some on eBay, Chevy logo is $50 more than the GMC logo

Pretty sure they are BedRug brand just with a Chevy or GMC logo. I love mine! I have a hard tonneau cover on my truck so my bed is a huge trunk. The bed rug has a nice cushion to it, makes it a pleasure when I crawl around in the bed to get things. I have a 5' x 10' utility trailer with 3' high mesh sides and a nice ramp tailgate that I use to haul large or dirty stuff. Number one function for my truck is to pull my boats.

Where i bought mine from. Something happened with the original one where either FedEx didnt pick it up off their dock or idk. But they then sent me another overnight.

Just put it in this afternoon. Between messing around with my nephew and family i was doing it for around 2.5 hours.

With no interruption and just getting it on it shouldnt take longer than 30 minutes i would think. Looks like im going to have to cut a block out where the oem bed lights are, theyre covered up by the rug.

    • Yes, and also pulling heavy trailers or a large camper up steep grades as well as descending grades such as the more rustic off road camping locations and using engine braking with that low gearing as well as soft ground can just suck the power . I realize pickups these days tend to have an over all lower first gear ratio compared to automatic transmission pickups from years back so that has helped a lot in its ability in high range but there comes a point if in four wheel drive the torque runs out at the wheels, certainly with a gas engine. They don't put two speed transfer cases on pickups for a cool factor, they have a function if one needs that massive torque to the wheels that high range can't deliver.
    • Notes 7/18/2026   3,400 miles on this batch of Mobil 1 Euro 5W40 since the GDI pump replacement. Alcohol runs very clean when ring seal is tight and the sump isn't getting hosed with fuel. Checked oil level at fill up today as is my practice and grabbed a white Kleenex to look at the color. What color?  I was going to change it but.....
    • 4 low is really nice on steep boat ramps.
    • Interesting, I suspect I would have fueled up in Lee Vining as the day prior I would have filled up either in Laughlin or near there and maybe again before I entered Death Valley and once out the other side late that evening as I kept on driving into the night up near Lee Vining. Next morning I most likely fueled up in LV before heading over Tioga Pass into ( as I refer to it as "Yose .... Mite" 😁 ). And again that was 19 years ago but the price then must not have jumped out at me like the 5 bill a gallon theme of nutty cult hippy country Big Sir or head so far up their rear Aspen. I'd be curious to know where the highest prices are in the lower 48, I probably would not be far off to guess somewhere in Cali forn ie. Coldfoot and Prudhoe bay may have those prices beat but that is a whole other world up there and when prices are more normal elsewhere that is about what they can be up there I believe in no mans land. Anyway interesting that the 395 corridor is hosing people and the thing is, its tourist season and its not like there are a lot of competition options when driving up that highway from what I could see. Yup, big ole Boaterhomes and various other RV's ahead and behind me at the Yosemite entrance gate and they have to get their fuel somewhere.
    • Those can be high, as well as the big California cities. The ones that will pop your eyes out are the 395 corridor on the Eastern side of the Sierra Nevadas. Lee Vining, $7.19 for regular and $8.89 for diesel is what the Google said right now.
