Break In Period...Warning

I recently purchased a 2015 LT Z71 that has now has about 600 miles on it. Even still, when I get to 65 mph, a warning comes on the in dash screen that says "Speed Limit Exceeded". I assume this is for the break in period, but I thought that was only 500 miles... Anyone else have this?

You can set speed warnings in the instrument cluster settings. Go in and look for it and delete it. Sounds like someone was messing with the settings whwn it was sitting on the lot

LOL I did 85 in mine on the way home from the dealer. I had maybe 60 miles on it.

Lol i was like what the hell. Glad you found the setting i didnt know of this, may have to put this on when my mom comes for a visit next month, she says she wants to drive my new truck .. HA : )

 

 

Anyways yeah i only 15 miles on mine leavingthe dealership, hit the highway and was 80ish back home for hour n half drive
