Paint problems on 2014 Silverado!!! Anyone know what this

I am so disgusted with this and GM's way of treating loyal customers. Started of with a 73 chevelle, 79 half ton, 85 half ton, 95 berretta, 03 blazer, 00 Silverado, 10 equinox and now my 13 Silverado rust bucket. maybe its time to try a ford again. I never like the seat material in the Silverado anyways (cloth) to hard to keep clean.....maybe ford will treat a loyal customer better!!!

 

It's not GM treating loyal customers bad. It's a case of dealers that don't treat their loyal customers well. GM should be making sure their dealers don't mistreat their customers, but the problem starts with the dealer. I have dealers in my area I won't deal with because they're well known to mishandle warranty issues and I have dealers I do business with that stand behind the vehicles they sell.

 

I've seen countless reports of Ford dealers pulling the same kind of shit. The same goes for EVERY brand. You're living in an alternate reality if you think bad dealers is isolated to one manufacturer.

I agree to a point but I still believe its the manufacture is the main one that forces dealerships to do this. Why would the dealership turn down warranty. I know sometimes it doesn't pay as much but still your killing two birds with one stone making a customer happy and still getting paid for the work

UPDATE GM says they wont touch it its not rusted thru and they don't have a rust warranty. They asked the dealer to help with the 820.00 repair the dealer said no because it was from something I did to chip the paint. Hello General Motors there are a lot of people having the same problem and it not from chips its coming trough from the metal. The GM rep said my last avenue was the district reps decision, if he agrees with the body shop its my problem. Let me guess what he will say "you chipped the paint and we will not pay for it". Its time to call the Consumer protection agency, I have had enough. The next 2 new vehicles will be FORD and lets see how their customer service is!
