2015 Tahoe Under-carriage Pics

Noticed oil spots on the driveway after a dealer scheduled oil change. Crawled under the truck to get a look, noticed the filter was wet with oil. Wiped it down then took the truck to the lift the next week. While on the lift I noticed there was a drip of oil on the drain plug and also on the filter. Wasn’t able to determine whether the drip was from a faulty filter gasket or if the drain plug/filter wasn’t torqued correctly. Wiped and tightened everything down, I’ll check again early next week. Since I had the truck 6ft in the air, I took the opportunity to look at the condition of the under-carriage.

Here are a few pics, gave me an idea about the quality of the undercarriage when exposed to my environmental conditions. Other than recent oil stains on some of the other components, everything looked pretty good after driving for 17 months. My daily driving conditions; no rain, snow, ice, or salt. Year round sunlight with an average 60 degree year round temps, daily thick cloud cover off the Pacific causing a marine layer or fog.

Never spray washed the undercarriage and other than wiping down the drain plug and filter, it's basically as is. I have unlimited access to a lift so figured I could give owners a perspective they wouldn't normally see by just looking at the shine from topside. I took about thirty pics and the most I found was this bit of carbon on the tailpipe.
