Leaving polishing pads sit over night?

I polished the hood & fenders on my truck today but, didn't have time to do the rest. I hit the pads with a couple shots of detailing spray and put 'em each in a zip lock bag, should it be OK to use 'em tomorrow?

Just run them under water before you use them to get the wax off the pad or...just use the other side of the pad. You should always run slight water over a new or clean pad before you use them. Ring out pad then wax or glaze. Always go with body lines when waxing...NEVER in a circle always in a straight line.

NEVER store your pads in a sealed plastic bag, espeically while they are still damp. Foam deteriorates in many cases under those conditions and loses its structural integrity. If you need to store your pads until 'next time' but you don't want to clean them place them somewhere face down, on a clean surface or a towel.

Re-activate the polish with a shot or two of detail spray when you get ready to use them again.

Good to know. I did leave 'em in the bags over night and saw no negative results, I won't do it again it was an odd circumstance...

As a sales professional myself I appreciate your point and you're right! I maybe sleeping in my truck if my wife sees more detailing supplies on the credit card anytime soon! I guess good Christmas List material! I do have a couple hex logic pads, one white one orange they're OK but not as nice as the gen 5 stuff you guys sell!
