Nope, they are Illusion Audio C10's.

 

I am using Illusion Audio Drivers instead of the Hertz Hi-Energy I have posted on my Build Page. Thats pretty much what has held up my build. You cant just hop online and buy them, you must go to an authorized dealer which is limited, and spend a chunk! So we are waiting for the components that replace these to arrive (I'll just leave it at that).

Wowwww... it's a shame these are mounted underneath the rear seats. I feel like they should be on display! Is that the amp in the middle underneath the "high country"?

He can do that if thats what you want and there is enough room for whatever amp your using. But he has a system where he welds a steel frame together as a rack and spans it across the back wall using factory bolts that are already there as to not have to do any modifications to the truck. The rack is pretty nice, but secured behind the seats.....no way anyone is ripping off anything secured to it.....they might as well steal the whole truck!

 

Look on page one and there is a picture of the rack with Mosconi amps and DSP.

I must say wow! Stereos are not my thing but that is some quality looking work and anyone would be happy to pay a premium for that High End work.

Robert, This is what I have been busy with and not on here much lately. My den is full of all kinds of stuff going into this build.....I have accumulated every part down to the .250 gold female connectors for the speakers. Not just any parts, but a lot of new "old school" parts that I have accumulated.

I am picky with my OCD, Kyle can do an install like the examples for many anytime. His style is clean and will not be something that goes out of style with it fitting the style of the interior.

Yep, Kyle pays particular attention to detail. One of the biggest reasons I asked him for help with my build. I know he won't rush or half ass anything.

Any idea what the dimensions are BEHIND the back seat? I'm looking at putting the JL Audio Dual 8W3v3 MicroSub behind the seat. The dimensions of the box are D-5.125" x H-11.0" x W-35.5" I Have the storage bin UNDER the rear seat so I really don't want to give up that storage space for a speaker box. Please let me know if you or your installer thinks it will fit.

Well my installer is me, my fabricator is Kyle. Nevertheless I can answer the question for you. Since the box is square and 5 inches deep, you are about 2 inches too deep. The space behind the seat is also angled. Anything with a depth of more than 3 inches is pushing it too far, and the gap back there actually has to have room enough for the seat to move a bit. You can see this when you lower and raise it. You will see how the bottom of the seat back will move forward and backward.

Don't want any confusion, I only work on my truck. Kyle's builds are all him. In my case, I just come up with the ideas and he finishes them. Since he lives two states over, I make a trip and pick up stuff and install on my own in my own shop.
