Hey guys I have a question for all of you. I have a 2003 Silverado 1500 that ORIGINALLY had a 4.8l in it. As some of you know, I had a 6.0 swap done on it 2 or so years ago.

Recently, I got the dreaded P0300 code. After all of my testing, I have come to the conclusion I have a bad fuel injector. So here's my question.

I removed one of the fuel injectors, which is a Delphi #25317628. After shopping for a new one, I have been given three part numbers and can't make sense of them. I am told a AC Delco OEM injector is #17113698. I have also been told that this is the SAME injector as a #25317628. So I am leaning towards this purchase.

However, can anybody tell me what a #FJ10062 is?!

Given that my injectors are more then likely from my 4.8l, I was considering swapping them all to injectors for a 6.0l. But from my research, the 4.8/5.3/6.0 all use the same injectors?

Thanks in advance!

Pull one of yours and see how many holes, then order the same ones if you have determined it as the cause. Did you check fuel pressure and the condition of your O2 sensors? These engines do not have common fuel injector issues, in my experience the p0300 code is often misdiagnosed, and the true cause is leaking intake manifold gaskets as the GM ones from 99-07 shrink over time and allow leaks causing mixture issues. As old school as this sounds, you can still pull the plugs after a hard bit of driving and see if one cylinder is grossly lean, tiny variances are not noticeable.

As a fellow 4.8l 1500 silverado er, I used rockauto to reference the injectors. The ones in my fuel rail are the 2 hole ac delco oem injectors. I swapped them out for the 4 hole version. Make sure to check the injector o-rings for size and condition. This may help alleviate any possible air leak behind the injectors "P-0300".
