Interior piping

I also just stumbled on this thread and am interesting in doing this. However, everyone that's done it was with a darker interior, in which I have the cocoa/dune and not sure how it'd look. Anyone with cocoa/dune have pics they want to share? I was thinking of getting the maroon to closely match the ruby red metallic of the truck.

Same here cocoa / dune interior with crimson red tincoat. The closest match I have seen is Burgundy color and it is too dark in my opinion.

I think the 2015 Ruby Red Metallic might be a little darker than yours, but not by a whole lot.

 

I am either looking at the maroon or the white. This way it'll either match the truck color (maroon) or just be a contrasting color (white) but not over the top. I thought about black also, which would look good on the doors, but with the darker colors of the dash and console, I think it'd blend in too much.

You found maroon? I could only find burgundy well good to know I look forward to see your truck done.

I found a maroon/burgundy and just received it in. The below picture is done with the outside flood lamp at dusk.

This is what it looks like against the door panel, but this is with just the phone flash, so will take another during day light as I only put one test piece on.

I just used the same link that was provided earlier in the thread, for all the welting provided by a certain vendor. However, this is the link I used for the Maroon/Burgundy. I'm not sure if I overkilled it when I ordered mine, but got 10 yards.

LOL yea 10yds might be an overkill, you want to sell me 3yds of yours before I place the order?

My truck is sleeping over at Line-Xs' tonight, it is getting under coating, silent rider, TST on the paint, the complete interior protection package.

Maybe 4 yards? It's pretty cheap but I'd much rather have to much than not enough, I ordered 10 yards like the guy above lol just to have it just in case

Alright thanks he sent me a sample of the burgundy I'm going to check if I like how it looks and I will buy me some.

Go to the link at the beginning of the thread, I'd suggest eBay. And to be honest I never measured it all out but I know 10 yards is more than enough. Can have extra to play around with and maybe test other areas you think would look good
