Happy Easter, can you Please Help!

Happy easter to everyone but if anyone is on the forum today could you please help me with a major problem. My brother-in-law purchaced an 02HD yesterday late in the day. He did not leave the dealer till around 930 pm. Well this morning when I went to see it I notice that it is only 2x4, he just about

. He thought he baught a 4x4 but it is not and wants to returne it ASAP in the morning. The dealer is closed today. So I was wondering what if anything can he do??? Any help or advice woud be great and I know, I know but please no smart remarks he really feels bad about this mistake. thanks

I'd go back to the dealer and explain the situation and swap for a comparable truck if it is on the lot. Today would be a good day to look around since they are closed. Your brother-in-law would not have a whole lot of bargaining power for another vehicle due to the mixup on his part. Hopefully the dealer will have an ounce of decency! Good luck.

Number one problem, a 4x4 will be alot more $$$ than a 2x4. Is it a new or used lease or a buy? ALSO, there arent a whole lot of new 02's anymore. Most salesmen are pretty dang cool. ???

Glad you asked, Well in the end he got his truck back but it was not a happy time for the dealer. I guess they tried to find him something in a 4x4 but had nothing. After about 3 hours of pissing and moaning he got his keys back to his old truck. I think the thing that saved him was that on none of the paperwork was it writen that the truck was a 4x2. So he learned a very good leson. I still cant see how he did not notice, now it is a pretty funny joke but for a while he really felt like the south end of a north bound horse if you know what I mean.
