End in sight for Isuzu Rodeo?

The end of the road may be near for the long time sales leader for Isuzu, the Rodeo.  For 2004 Isuzu will introduce a five passenger version of their GM engineered Acsender SUV.  Below are some pictures...

 

Hopefully with the introduction of the new SUV Isuzu will remain a value-oriented brand.  One of their strongest selling points aside from off-road prowess has been value.  So far, there has been no word on future Rodeo production, though I hope it continues.  The Rodeo offers a lot of value in its class.

 

Isuzu has announced that they will produce a completely new SUV in 2006, so the life-span of the Acsender may be short.
