I didn't notice that! I think detectors are in fact illegal in Canada, so Gryphon762mm has a point. Here in the States, they are only illegal in Virginia and DC. All other states are fair game.

Incorrect. It varies province to province like in the US. Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan they are perfectly legal. Ontario as an example they are not.

I use Bluetooth media on mine more than anything else and it's great...... I have all my music loaded to my Galaxy S5 and I don't use ITunes anyway. It's seamless...... I mean it picks up the phone and just works. I won't attempt to talk you into the truck..... if you hate it this bad already ditch the stupid thing. If you don't you will sit there and nit pick it for the rest of time and regret not doing it. There are tons of those people on these forums so just get rid of the truck and don't become one of them lol. I'm not a Chevy fan..... I have GM, Ford and Toyota trucks so I honestly don't care what I drive.

I dumped my F150 for the Sync system being garbage for one of the reasons anyway so just get rid of the truck.

I also traded a '15 F150 with Sync "2" (Now its Sync "3" on the new ones).  That wasn't a main reason for the trade, but more of a minor (but continuous) annoyance - it just didn't work.  So now I'm thrilled with the Intellilink on my Sierra, and maybe I'm the only one - but I love the built in Nav - the first one I have ever had on a vehicle.  Seems to work fine to me.  In fact , the ergonomics of the truck in general are superior to the F150 (I'm not brand loyal either, believe me).
