In your 2015 1500 truck does your LED shut off when using turn signal.

As far as I can tell the LEDs underneath the headlamps in my SLT truck are supposed to replace daytime running lamps.

I have noticed with the GMC Acadia and a few other brands with running LEDs when using turn signal the LED shuts off on that side.

I get it is for safety so people can see the turn signal over the LED. You would really have to not be paying attention to not see the turn signal over the LED.

It makes the vehicle look like it is broken and it looks like sh_t when the LED shuts off.

On my 2014 SLT when using the turn signal the LED does not shut off on either side.

Just curious if the 2015 or 2016 GMC or Chevrolet do this?

They do not shut off when the signal is activated. I like that it stays on.

The LEDs on my 2015 Sierra stay on even with the turn signal on. I agree that it looks weird when one side turns off on mostly all other cars.

ive noticed Dodge vehicles the whole headlight beam goes out on signal. looks very stupid and looks as if the bulb is burnt out

I see this mostly on Audi's and agree it looks horrible.

No. On the '14 and '15 GMC the LED stays on with the turn signal.

I think you guys are hitting the purpose right on the head. You NOTICED they turn off, err-go you NOTICED the turn signal blinking. Personally, I think this is a good idea. Problem area is the goofs who don't know how to use the signals!
