Jet Performance to release 4.2l Module

Saw this in June 2003 Truckin page 38 under truck stuff.

Jet is making a chip module for the 4.2L Trailblazer/Envoy.

The module is said to give 16 to 18hp, firmer shift points and impoved overall paccleration.

My mistake,they dont have the stage 1 or stage 2 chips available.They do have the better "power shift" chip available for 4.2 that have modified exhaust and lower temp thermstats.I'm very interested in trying one,if anybody else has I'm real interested in what kind of results they've gotten.

I'm a member of the J-body community at www.j-body.org and have heard that they dont really do anything for horse power gains even though they claim those results. I'd say the only thing you might notice from the chip is no govenor. And you can get rid of that for free yourself.
