I haven't bought it yet, but I'm pretty sure it has pre-drilled holes that can be mounted to a wall stud with screws.

The guy also told me it could be mounted directly to the headboard or inside a nightstand drawer.

A little pricey, Ebay has them for around $150, but very secure.

I hope you have time to unlock that box if you ever need the gun to defend your life!

It opens fast I have practiced with mine. Keep mine locked also with 2 little ones

I guess I'm just odd, I haven't seen the need for these other than a novelty. The couple I shot (S&W or Taurus) had horrible patterns. I've got a shotgun if I want a shotgun and pistols/revolvers if I want a handgun. If I'm going to carry something that large I'll just carry my 44 mag. The whole "not having to aim" thing is false as far as I've experienced as well.

BTW those shot shells for pistols aren't much good past 5ish feet, so they'd probably work fine for snakes/rodents which is basically what they're intended for anyway. The few I shot through my ruger P95 cycled fine, not that they wouldn't I've yet to find a factory round that doesn't cycle through that beast.

I guess I also shouldn't say I always knew where the guns were both the locked up ones and unlocked ones and I never did anything stupid with them. Training/teaching at an early age helps prevent "accidents" more than any laws/regulations the govt decides will keep us feeling safer. Not that I'm against locking stuff up around kids, the way I'm going I'll never have to worry about that.

With six grandkids, I don't care how well-trained they are in gun safety, my weapons will be locked up 24/7. There won't be any accidents at my house.

I don't know if I'd trust those 9mm shot rounds to cycle... I like the idea of shotshells in a revolver, .410 just seems a little small.
