2015 Accessories For 2016s

I think I know the answer, but is there any reason to think accessories made for the 2015s won't work for the 2016s? When I say accessories, I am talking about things like Husky floor liners, tonneau covers, bed extenders, etc. I was about to pick up liners and underseat storage for my '16 Denali, but Husky does not show the liners as available for the 2016, but I am thinking I should be fine.

Gm Released new accesories for the 2016 trucks and also made them availible on the 2014 and 2015's.

So that should tell you very little has changed.

What about the sport bar? Says its only for a 16 but I don't see why it wouldn't fit my 15

I would only be concerned about things for the front end. Slightly different on the 2016. Everything else is the same..

I think the bar would fit the lighting option may be the only issue.

I know they integrate it to the factory switch and the 14,15 might not support that.

Yeppers. BCM changes and wiring changes prevent the sport bar and lights from being added.

so the bar would fit but no lights .....right?

You'd probably be able to wire the integrated third brake lamp according to the instructions and have it function. Until and IF GM announces any backwards compatibility on the off road lights, its a no on those.

I want the sport bar so bad., but it's almost a 1k. Not worried about the wiring since I want to add an extra battery for the inverter and the led Cree lights on the bar since there an empty space on the left side under the hood..

Mounting should be compatible with prior years provided they have front stake holes in the top rail. Easy install except for disengaging the fuel tank filler assembly and snaking the power harness through the stake hole past the filler pipe........a real pain in the a$$. And forget about their instructions for hooking up the new CMHSL in the bar which includes removing the hood fuse block from the bulkhead, removing and installing new wires......just replace the CMHSL fuse with the piggyback tap for the hot wire and leave the space for the original fuse empty to turn off the original CMHSL.

Bar already comes with a top plate with holes for mounting lights, no reason to go with the factory lighting package anyway since it lists for as much as the bar, another $1K! Much, much cheaper and easier to install your own on the bar with an aftermarket relay kit.... I used single row LED lights that can easily flip over for use as rear lighting when needed

You can use anything that would work for the 14/15

Heavy Duty Z71 mats won't....driver's mat retention tabs are at different locations.

The Z71's floor mat retention tabs are in different locations than the tabs on the other trim levels? I took the Husky Floor Liners right from my '14 to my '16.
