2016 Backup Camera

I don't get what the complaint is? You want a 4K UHD TV for a backup camera? Is there something you're not able to see with the current one? Do you frequently run into things that are hard to see? I agree that the picture isn't 1080p, but I think it's more than adequate for it's intended purpose, no?

 

The issue is more I think with the fact that other products in the GM portfolio do have a real HD quality camera where these do not.

I doubt it. I'm betting it's the same resolution camera on a larger screen.

I think my camera works fine and seems to be a little better than my wife's Infinity backup camera. To me the camera has nothing to do with the quality or performance of the truck. It works great as intended and gets very little use.
