Any POF owners here?

Yet another trolling of a correct, educated firearms post I made. The butt hurt crowd just doesn't quit & that's exactly why I stay away from your beloved ARF.com, because some people just don't get it. No matter how many facts, how much you prove, years of experience and years behind a specific weapon in the field, they still don't get it and probably never will. They believe their bottom tier firearm they paid way too much for is 'just as good as' the manufacturers who build them correctly.

Now I'm accused of "bashing". How you came up with that is beyond me, butt hurt clouds the mind I guess. I have never bashed a firearm and never will, but I will state the obvious and facts posted and made public by industry insiders.

When you pay a fortune for something your buddy told you is top of the line, high class firearm but in reality it's not even close, I guess you have the right to have buyers remorse and defend that purchase to the grave.

Here's some facts, or "bashing" (if that's what tickles your fancy) of how awesome these POF hobby rifles are right out of the box. Remember, these POF jobbers cost thousands of dollars and they claim to be high end......

"I received my new test mule sent to me by POF-USA. It is model "POF-USA P-308" (16.5" barrel). I received this rifle directly from the manufacturer and what I received was nothing short of a disgrace. When I opened the box this is what I saw!

- Machining marks were plainly visible and easily felt all over the lower receiver. The grooves were so easily felt that a blindfolded person would have caught it.

- The finish on the upper receiver was not uniform, it was actually two different shades of black and had some white substance on it.

- There was salt leftover from the nitrating process of the barrel that was plainly visible and felt.

- The bolt was filthy and had some kind of sandy grit that appeared to be part of the metal.

- The finish on the barrel was not uniform.

- The dust-cover spring was sticking up past the ejection port where it could easily snag on something or cut you.

- There was the anodizing missing from the left side of the ejection port, showing shiny metal.

- The bolt face, chamber, and barrel were all filthy.

This will be the final time I post in response to this troll. I don't have time to do research for someone who doesn't understand a quality firearm from average. I will always only recommend manufacturers who do things properly, always have, always will. I will not point someone who is looking to learn in the wrong direction.
