Chevy 2500 hd duramax grille help

Ok, new on here... Decided to make an account to see if I could get some help... My buddy has. 2001 Chevrolet 2500hd duramax crew cab and he cracked the middle chrome piece on the grille. It is not cracked in the middle, it is more closer to the left headlight. I was told that the chrome center piece is detatcheble and you could just get that rather than a whole grille but i have looked hard and been unable to locate one. He wants to go ahead and order it by Christmas so if yall could look or ask around I would greatly appreciate it!!
