Selling my 6.0l ford for 2500 sierra

Hi I'm looking at trading in my 2005 f250 6.0l diesel (200,000 miles)on a 2016 2500hd either slt or denali (diesel). Coming from the 6.0l ford.....I was wondering if there are any major issues with the 2016 gmc...I have heard the 2017 will be new...and Id rather get one proven to be reliable..I have original injectors and high pressure oil pump and oil cooler and several other thing that need to replaced (tires, front end work, 4x4 vacume leak, rear sensors not working, and there's an issue with long starts that's due likely to some kind or high pressure oil leak or high pressure pump or the beginnings of injector issues....sooo....I'm thinking it's time to trade her in before I sink more money into her without being able to get it back....and after several other issues I don't really trust the truck anymore to run without issue....

I was hoping to get a really good deal on a 2015....but to be honest I can get a 2016 for basically the same price..

So are there any issues for the 2500hd?

Are the warrenty offered for the 2016 the same as 2015...I had heard that gm cut down the power train on the 2016 to 60000 miles...but I don't think this affected the diesels...they were offering 2 years oil change and the Def fluid...but for 16 that's been reduced to 1...

Is the denali worth the extra money...either now or in resale?

Sorry for the dumb questions. .. first post and I did a search and read a fair bit...

Thanks for your time

Pretty stout. 11-14 we've seen some NOx sensor failures but none on 15's yet (the LML is the same 11-16). Some early built 15's had exhaust alignment issues. Diesel powertrain is 5year 100k for 2016 last I checked.

Great engines and transmissions on the 2015's & 16's.

Your lucky on your 6.0 to get that many miles, did you redo the head studs???

CP4.2 in junk and regens can be very often resulting in crap mileage.

It is a risk but I would buy one, keep all maintenance receipts, be sure oil and FUEL filter changes are on time incase injection decides to go.
