My sister's boyfriend (fiance) of 2 and 1/2 years just passed away this weekend from meningits and I thought it would be nice to make a video for both her and his parents w/ "their song" playing in the background.  Something that slowly rolls though pics of him and her together.  I'm not sure how I could go about doing this or if someone can do it for me.  Is there a program to do this?  Please someone help me out on this one.

I'm going to be scanning the pics in a few days and I'll post them on a site for someone.

I really appreciate any help you guys can lend me on this.

consider me a video editing conaseiur (forget spelling that right)

I use adobe premier but you won't need to go that high end.

Download a copy of MGI videowave 5 demo that's free for 45 days.   All you have to do it drag and drop the images and wowlaa,  but the audio is kinda difficult

so I reccomend Microsoft Movie Maker for you, it's drag and drop  audio and video,  couldn't get more simple than that.

I talked to MErvz about doing this very thing.. he and SiiLT have used Swish for doing this type of thing.  Also Macromedia Flash... the link to Swish is in a post somewhere, I have forgotten exactly where I downloaded it from.... SiiLT???

Thanks guys.  I'll do some looking for the programs and see what I can do.

Larry, if you've already got the stuff how long would it take you to throw it together for me if you've got the time?

I used Swish for signatures on another site that I was on when I also had access to an FTP client to upload too.  Swish worked nice, problem is, it takes up a lot of memory especially if you have a lot of pictures involved.

PPT is also a good choice, although I'm not sure how one would import pictures into it.  All the presentations I do simply have spreadsheets and graphs that I import in.

With PPT you would have to add each image as a graphic on the page.  I have never put sound with a PPT Presentation so I dont know about that.  See, PPT Presentation means Newbie gets to talk.  Now who would want to play music over that!?
