Does anyone else have issues starting the truck in the morning, it takes a couple cranks before it starts up. The battery is brand new, just seeing if anyone else have this issue or if I should start looking into thi.

It's because it's a direct injection motor. It's normal mine take a few extra revolutions to get it going once the cold whether rolls in.

Yea I use the remote start as well, just being paranoid since my other two cars are both GDI and they start right up in the morning. Just chalk it up as GM's feature.

Does yours also have a weird rattle or something on cold start for about 1 second? Mine does but only on cold start.

But I agree it takes longer for sure

Mine does it. I have no idea what it is. Sounds like the gears grinding or something? I made a thread about it a few months back but didn't get much of a response. It only does it on a cold start.
