Elite Engineering E2X Catch Can - Shipping Time?

I ordered the E2X can back on Jan 7th. They sent me a fedex tracking number almost right away, but it just keeps saying the label has been created and it hasn't shipped. Do they make these things one at a time? For those who have ordered from Elite Engineering, should I expect a super long wait time?

I ordered two cans and they shipped them quickly. I ordered before Right before Christmas and had them 3 days later. You can email them (contact info on website) to get an update. Both times I ordered from them they shipped very quickly.

Their customer service is top notch and will reply to you quickly. Got mine in 5 days "with a weekend in between."

Thanks. I sent them an email. We'll see what comes of it. I've never been a fan of FedEx and it wouldn't surprise me if they screwed it up somehow.

Sorry guys. I had originally ordered one and after getting it rather quickly, decided I wanted the full monty (E2X). They were very slow in every aspect. They created the label and then did not ship it until days later as well. Customer Service? Try calling them....... good luck. They do usually answer e-mails on a timely basis. I have a huge e-mail trail for those that doubt me.

HOWEVER, the products are top notch and you will not be disappointed with the cans, kit, etc.

Same situation here. Ordered one on 11 Jan.

When I ordered mine, it took about ten days. I think there has been a lot of demand and they are ramping up production. I bet demand has outpaced production which is causing delays. I unscrewed the caps on mine when purchased to check it out. Very high quality from top to bottom. There are a number of individual parts that are manufactured and then welded in place. Elite is a great company. I would give it a few days, it is worth the wait and you won't believe how much crap it stops from entering your engine.

I paid for overnight, but they contacted me directly when it didn't ship next day. They refunded the overnight payment as the free ground shipment at that point would arrive the next day anyway. Think I ordered on Thursday, got it on Tuesday.

I finally did receive mine, but it was missing the mounting bracket. Emailing support went fairly well and they send out the bracket. I'm not convinced I got all the right parts, but I made them all work together. The bracket they sent was certainly for the old style can and, all told, it took 3 weeks from payment to install. I agree the product looks to be excellent and I got quick response from support, but the whole operation just seems like it's ran out of a garage. I got the kit for the truck (hey, cause, thats what I have, right?) and got the clean side separator as a suprise (not mentioned on the website)... I didn't want it and didn't install it. No instructions came in the kit and, as mentioned, there were pieces missing. So, hey, if anyone is interested in a clean side separater, let me know.

I ordered one... took 3 weeks to get but I am in Canada. I sent it back as I wanted an E2X and then they forgot about me for about a month... Got an email a couple days ago saying it should ship the next day and I have a tracking number. Checked it just now and all that has happened is pretty shipment info sent to the shipper... that's it. I guess I will send them another email again today. I ordered back in October lol but they got my return in early December. Oh well lol. It's all figured out for now and it is in the mail!

What fittings did you guys get with your can? There isn't anything specific when you place your order. I'm asking because the fittings attached to my can were for the braided SS rubber hose. Cool if I'm using that hose, but I'm not. So I had to spend a few extra bucks on Summit Racing's site to get what I needed in order to use the rubber hose supplied in the kit.

Kind of strange as those fittings supplied are not cheap at all. 1/4 NPT - 6 AN hose. Aluminum black anodized swivel 90 degree reusable for braided SS rubber hose are around 28.00 apiece!

What did you pay for your set-up? The E2X comes with everything in the catalog except the SS hoses. E2X comes with the largest can, steel mounting bracket, clean air separator kit, in line check valve, etc. They do a very poor job of describing this on their site.

Put this on yesterday. No instructions came in the box and the website instructions were not that good. I emailed them for the placement of the check valve and they responded quickly. I called them a couple times on a couple different days and always got their answering machine. Anyways, happy with the quality of the can and the 1/4 turn ball valve makes it easy to drain.

    • Looking for help troubleshooting a metallic like front end rattle. Figured I’d see if anyone had thoughts before I schedule an appointment with the dealer.   The rattle is fairly loud and occurs primarily when the front driver side wheel hits a bump, even fairly minor road seams. Sometimes does it when the passenger hits a bump but I don’t believe when the rear hits. Rattle still occurs when foot is pressing brake peddle so I think that rules out the caliper rattle I’ve read about. I’ve also checked the running boards and they are tight.   Most noticeable at slow speeds.    Any insight is appreciated.
    • We try to make cruise the coast. It’s where our favorite casino is. I only want to spectate. Never took a car. Always had one to take. I belonged to a club once. Even when I used to drag raced. It was during test and tune. Probably because I’m not a night owl, party person.
    • We had a pretty big cars and coffee in Indy this past weekend.  Pretty much anything and everything was there.
    • Good looking Olds, and TRX!   I haven't been into car shows either. I'm probably not a convert but I did push myself this year to attend a few select events to challenge some assumptions and try to experience car-based social clubs in a different way. I joined up with the local Hagerty group for some cars/coffee events, group drives. A month ago I showed my '94 Camaro I rescued last fall at Radwood. Had a good time, but, there was some sitting around with the car and that's the part of shows I don't enjoy as much. I prefer to be a spectator, walk the show, grab a burger, go home.   Radwood was the only era-limited event, but where it had strict model year limitations, it made it up in variety. Having Jason Camissa there was also a hoot.   Where I see old 50's car shows, doo-wop and winga dinga music stuff fading out, same with "only" vintage muscle clubs, it seems to be the activity-based clubs/events which are gaining strong popularity. Places where all cars and interests come together.
