Center high mounted stop light - or 3rd brake light LED

I've read lots of places not to use a white or blue white led behind red plastic (like a brake light) because it will look pink or light brown or whatnot. So wanting to see for myself, I put a Philips 921 LED in my 3rd brake light in my 2016 Sierra. I thought the 6000k color temp would cause issues, but to my surprise it didn't. If one was wanting to nitpick and had to find something negative, you might could say that the color appears to have the slightest orange tint. Looking at it by itself, it looks red. Comparing it to the stock led brake lights, its the slightest of reddish orange. But to me, it looks fine so I'm happy and leaving it.

I doubt seriously if anyone looking at it would know any different unless it was pointed out beforehand
