2" level or 2.5"?

Hi guys, I guess i have a question on preference on this subject. I've just bought a 2015 silverado CCSB and i'm wanting to level it. I am going to go with a rough country kit, but i'm hung up on either the 2" kit or the 2.5" kit. I guess i'm looking for everyone's opinion on it and maybe some pictures of your trucks. Any help would be great!

 

EDIT: Yes, i have browsed the level kit sticky. I'm just asking for preference and/or more pictures to help sway my decision. Is there any concern with the cv angles?

My 2" level fit my needs perfectly

2" level with lt275/60r20 bfgoodrich all terrain KO2's. Slight rub at full lock, I think the 2.5" would have been a better fit bit I'm not worried about it

Just finished a 2" level with block below strut and added 305/55r20 all terrains on a 2014 CC 2WD. Rear is 1/4" higher than the front. Only a slight rub on sway bar with full lock to the right. No difference in ride at all with the level.

Thanks for your replies guys! I think I'll stick with my gut and go with the 2" as well. I plan on eventually putting on some 285/70/17 ko2's too

I measured my truck. its about 2.5" taller in the rear. With a 2" level, it'll still have about a 1/2" rake which i'm fine with

Looks nose high from the side, what are the fender measurements? Seems these trucks when dang near level leave a nose high look (but really aren't) and need a little rake to look level. What color is your truck?

But did you search?

 

Yes, concerns for CV, tie rods, ball joints (pretty much any suspension joint) can have issues long run depending on height, use and tire size).

This is probably not a fair picture to use because what you don't see is a trailer hooked up to it lol I just thought it looked good how it sat so I snapped a quick pic of it today lol

Hmmm my girls truck doesn't rub at all with the same tire and same size. And she has a generic 2" level

I always have had the worse luck with level and lift kits on my trucks, requiring more height for the same result as others lol but yes I get a slight rub (haven't checked where yet) at full lock

Its probably on the sway bar.... Thatw where mine rubs but i have a 305/55/20..... I knew it was going to rub but dat tire width doe lol
