Symptoms. Check engine lights flashing and stability traction light on. Slight odor of burnt oil. Truck starts shaking. Wants to stall. Took 4 days to diagnose (they had to wait for senior tech to come into work). Everything tested fine, compression, plugs, coil. Finally on day 4 they diagnosed a faulty fuel injector. Day 8 now still waiting for snail mail to deliver part. Any ideas on how to illeviate wait times also. A fuel injector should be a immediate diagnose and fix.

Besides the fact that there are 3 different flow rate injectors for the L86 6.2 (and they have to remove the faulty one and match the part # to it), they are all an automatic next day air part.

Also, these DI engines make injector diag a bit more fussy than the old multiport ones.
