reverse lights stop working when keyless unlocked

Well i took my truck in to the dealer for its first oil change yesterday. Last night i noticed that when i pressed unlock on my key fob, the reverse lights no longer come on. I assumed that the dealer somehow reset the settings and that this would be an easy fix. However, i cant find a setting for this anywhere. I see where it lets u select exit light time (which was already set to 120 seconds), unlock feedback where it only lets u select lights-flash or off. I do have the cargo lights-on-with-reverse mod but if that was the issue, i would think that when i push the cargo light switch that the reverse lights wouldnt work (which they do) or when i out the truck in reverse, the cargo lights wouldnt work (which they also do). Its normally not a huge deal, except my aftermarket under rail bed lighting is tied in to the reverse circuit so now they no longer come on, unless i manually push the cargo light switch.

I am at a loss. Any help is appreciated

Didnt think of that... i would think that auto headlamps would be inop as well tho. Hmmm, ima have to check that tonite. Thanks

If it's daylight out your back up lights will not work until it senses dark

Ok, i just went out this evening to check, and as far as i can tell the light sensor is working (at least for the auto headlights). I wonder if the sensor is more complex than just one signal... like pissibly, is it half-broken? Maybe it has separate outputs- one for the headlights and possibly one for the reverse lights? Idk. I guess ima have to remove my diodes at the bcm for the cargo/reverse light mod, and take it in to the dealer. Im just perplexed as to if this mod killed something in the sensor or the bcm, as i know alot if us have done this and i have yet to hear of anyone else with the same issue

FWIW, the reverse lights on my 15 come on when the unlock on the fob is pressed and truck is in dark garage.

Have you found a solution to the problem that happens almost 3 years ago?? mine is having thr same issue
