They're not THAT much!  We have a 65" here and it wasn't even that much.

Does that 43" have a built in HD tuner?  You'v got to see CSI in HDTV.  They all drive new Chevy Tahoes of course!  And a couple months ago, I swear I saw an actual nipple!  Yeah, so the chick was dead, but still...I love HDTV!

Well goes to show I don't know what I'm talking about.  There is only one place near me that sells them and they were $$$, maybe all I was looking at was the ones slightly larger.  But still, $2000 isn't cheap for a TV.

new eletronics is always a great smell. you should have gone for the 43" plasma screen and then update all your other hadrware so you could use component video. ok, i guess that could get kind of costly.. but TV is your friend.

Nice TV Ryan.  It looks like it is 4:3 and not 16:9.  Not really a big deal...  when I bought mine I bought the 4:3 too and since it is big enough, the wide screen movies (DVD's) are very watchable.  Mine is a Toshiba 50" "cinama series HD".  I love it!!!  Nothing better than Nascar and Football on a big screen....

And for Tom, even SpongeBob SquarePants is pretty cool too...!!!   LOL

That is the exact TV that me and my dad wanted to buy earlier this year, but quite honestly it was pointless for us.  The only way to get HD TV is through a dish setup, as the cable companies aren't set up for that here yet.  Its too bad though, because the difference in pictures is incredible.  Oh well, I will just save my money for a few more years.....

Nice TV Ryan....can't beat a Sony.  I have the 43", but no HDTV....bought mine the first year Sony came out with it (2000) and it's the best set I've ever had.
