'09 vortec port/polish

Put shorty headers on 09 5.3 Silverado and noticed exhaust ports have potential of being porting. Is this possible and worth doing? Please don't say shorty headers suck, I have heard this enough

It is certainly possible. Are they stainless steel or cast? You can use the gaskets to trace a pattern and ensure you don't open them up too much. The gains are going to depend on supporting modifications.
