What HID lights are you guys running?

I tried upgrading the high beams to authentic philips 9011 bulbs with hardly noticeable change and philips xtreme vision lows without any noticeable change.

Most my driving is 60 miles a day in the dark going 80mph so I would like some more light.

I want to know what brand HID kits you guys are running with good results. I dont want to melt my housings or waste my money on a shit product so any input would be appreciated.

With your desire for more light, have you considered an LED light bar mounted on the front? I have read in many other threads guys getting a good amount of additional light with those bars.

With your desire for more light, have you considered an LED light bar mounted on the front? I have read in many other threads guys getting a good amount of additional light with those bars.

Yeah but due to price, uncertainty of how the light pattern will fit my needs, and not knowing of a nice clean way to install to a stock truck has turned me away from one for now. Also not sure if its even legal here.

I have 55w in mine for over a year. Not even any hot spots.

I got this with Philips bulbs.

At the moment, this is only about $130 (sale, free shipping, etc.).

Works absolutely perfectly and was a nice plug and play install.

I have projectors. If you do not have projectors you should not put HID's in. In that case your best bet would be a LED lightbar and you could wire it so it comes on with your high beams so you don't have to flick a separate switch all the time. That would give you the most light for the buck.
