Auto Dim Mirrors Not Working

Just picked up a new '16 Silverado.

 

Auto dim rearview and driver side mirror worked initially.

 

Now they don't dim. Anyone else have this issue or a remedy? Did I unknowingly shut this feature off?

Now they're working. No clue why!

I believe they work off a sensor in the middle rear view mirror. They will darken up when it senses light, but will be less dark (at night) when there isn't light shining on it from behind.

Also, make sure you do not have anything hanging from the inside rear view mirror that could block the sensor.
