Most people have heard of the Ford Raptor, but not very many have heard of the Silverado Reaper. This is GM's answer to Ford and is a Raptor killer. Ford was so intimidated you will notice they did not build any more Raptors after 2014 and just now for their 2017 model year are going to re-release a new eco-friendly, V6 twin turbo Raptor. From the specs I have seen Ford's new 2017 Raptor, it still falls short of the Reaper specs. This is like the Camaro vs Mustang rivalry except with trucks, haha.

Silver Ice 6.2 --- CORRECTION TO YOUR PHOTO - That is NOT A REAPER - It is a Silverado MOAB by Tuscany Automotive, the MOAB's have the black front grills, active air hood front facing scoops, and the decal graphics splash on the far rear bed.

Until further inspection, I originally thought it was a redesigned Reaper myself, easy mistake, haha.

Just seen the link you put up.. yeah it looks like that red one.. not my cup of tea.. but the truck lost me when I seen the escalade vents on the fenders

Silver Ice - I agree, I didn't like the Escalade side vents either, otherwise looks cool, be better all black though, ha! Maybe keep the red trim on the wheels.

Edelman - Thanks! I think it's bad@ss myself, the completely different front end takes a minute to grow on ya, but then you realize it's another thing that sets it apart from everyone else's Silverado.

Kerrslight - That's twice now you have insulted my 2015 Silverado Reaper truck. You can insult a man's wife, but do not insult his truck... unless it's a Ford, haha!

The hood overlapping the grille is absolutely hideous looking, but I do like the grille. And I am sure the rest of the truck is awesome.

I changed my signature to add the front end photo everyone seems to say is ugly, lol.

There's so much HP under the hood being Supercharged by Lingenfelter that it needed the nose stretched to contain it all, LOL!

I am new here, but is this a let's make fun of other people's GM truck forum or a Ford forum? Hahaha!

I'm not insulting or making fun of anyone's truck. Truth be told I didn't even know you owned one. I'm just voicing my opinion. Also there are many supercharged trucks on here that managed to fit everything under the hood without needing a "beak" to fit it all. Just voicing my opinion.

Ya got yourself one bad ass truck there sir. You are not the only one to say it will slap a Raptor around any day any way. Reaper makes Raptor owner Grimace at the sight of it so they say.

Kerrslight - It's OK, it's all fun to me, and keeps the forum fun, haha.

The nose is different looking, and some people do think it looks bizarre, but I am the one who bought it and drives it, so as long as I like it and am happy, then that's really all that matter to me, haha. Every time I drive it, I love the neck snapping power of the supercharger, reminds me of when I was younger driving Corvettes. Long ago I had a Lingenfelter modded 1991 ZR1 that was a wicked beast and fun to drive!

I was actually searching the forums trying to find anyone else who might own a Reaper, but haven't had any luck yet.

And like everyone else on here, I can't leave well enough alone and like finding cool ideas for more mods to be done to my truck.
