On my 2009 Silverado 2500HD, I ran Bilstein 5100's and have towed an enclosed car trailer with different camaros in it along with my travel trailer had no complaints with these shocks.

On Nasty Z for sure, been for years.

I have those already, they're attached to my hitch...which is in my trailer at the moment.

 

Ordered a set of Bilstein 4600 shocks and the parts to return it back to stock height, will have installed next week and then I'll hook up my trailer and see how she looks...thanks guys!

I would make sure your ball mount and ball can handle the tongue weight you're trailer has??? So determining tongue weight is super important. Using a weight distributing hitch, with the bars, will level your rig and can handle that tongue weight.

The ball mount/distributing hitch came with the trailer when I bought it so I'm fairly certain it's the correct one for the application...

When I look at your picture I don't see a weight distributing hitch? At least not the bars , anyways....

To recap...that's not my trailer or race car. My buddies tow rig broke down as he was headed to the March Meet in Bakersfield and I towed him off the side of the road.

 

Yesterday, I had to shuttle the funny car body to a body shop so I hooked up my trailer for the first time and as I thought, it is better balanced than my friend's trailer.

 

As you can see in this picture, the nose is still up in the air due to the leveling kit that was installed...today, that comes off and the suspension returns to stock along with the addition of new Bilstein 4600-series shocks all around and it should be much more level the next time I tow.

Leveling kit removed and Bilstein 4600-series shocks installed all around...an exact 2" drop...and I have another inch or so if I need it plus I can adjust my trailer ball mount there if need be so point is...I have adjustability now whereas before I had nothing but a nose up attitude,lol.

Looks much better...Show picks after you hook up to your trailer. I will be towing a 56 to drag week and need to see how it will look and ride. Stock height on my 2015i GMC 2500 HD.

Total front toe was out -11.7mm so she goes down the road much better now...
