Aftermarket headlights

Anyone have any experience with these headlights. Really disappointed in the SLE headlights and the SLT conversion seems way to expensive and intrusive.

These claim to be plug and play, but I cant really find any reviews on what people think of them as far as quality and long term durability.

Mods: I'm sure there is a forum for headlights but I searched and couldn't find anything about these specific headlights.

I've ordered from protuninglab before. Their customer service is atrocious. It will take many attempts before you get a person, and when you finally do they won't be able to speak English very well. It's a Chinese company based out of California. Also, their return policy is horrible and they'll make you jump through hoops. Outside of that, their products are almost always just rebranded spyder auto stuff. Recon also makes these headlights. I'm pretty sure VipMotoz does as well.

I have the Spyder Auto ones on my truck.

How does the lighting output of those headlamps compare to the original ones?

The bulbs that came with the headlights were terrible. First I tried PIAA Xtreme White Plus bulbs as a replacement, and they were only marginally better, still not acceptable in my opinion. Then I switched to Putco Nite-Lux LED bulbs and I'm happy with them now. On my last Sierra I had the xenondepot LED bulbs in the stock headlights, and I would say that the Nite-Lux in these Spyders is better than that setup, but not by a lot. I do like how there are separate low and high bulbs in these also; H7 low, H11 high.

Would I do it again? Absolutely. Mostly for looks though. The black housing coupled with the OLED DRL tube does it for me. They just look a lot better than the OEM headlights in my opinion.
