oil filter ?

I've been using k&n oil filters for several years... just love there oil filters. I do plan on keeping my truck as long as it will run.. just noticed this filter for our trucks. I have looked into one, you are looking at 25+ oil changes before break-even and more downtime due to cleaning.

Lifetime (steel mesh) oil filters are not cost effective and there is no data that shows effectiveness. Does not compare to any other filters, really any better, questionable? Instead of throwing away a disposable oil filter you now have to dispose of cleaning solvent. Also, if the oil gets changed somewhere is it likely will get throw away.
