Clicking/Popping Noise from Steering Column

Wife got in today and complain about popping noise coming from steering column on 2015 LT Tahoe. Just drove unit and yes, when turning to right intermitted popping noise. If you tilt or bring out the column it will stop for a bit. Having looked at on the next oil change/tire rotation.

Common issue - dealer will probably replace the entire column. Mine has been replaced twice now.

Dealer fixed mine last week. Replaced bearing and race in column. No more issues.

Took it in last week and they back ordered improve bearing kit for column?

  Oh my goodness I forgot one. And you can guess why. Olds cutlass diesel station wagon. I was constantly working on it. Very low mileage and very nice. I gave it to my brother and he converted it to gas.
