St. Louis

Just returned from St. Louis and the Childerns hospital there. My daughter had Selective Dorsal Rhysodomy surgery to help her walk. She has CP and man what a difference in just a few days after. That place is the best. Never seen such care in everyone before and all the latest equipment. Really made an impression on us and I tell you what, when it is your child on the the surgery table you want the best and this is the place for it. Dr. Park is the one that started this procedure and has perfected it to the T.  The man is great. It was a long 9 day visit, got to see the Arch and other sites. Oh and the Budweiser brewery was really cool. Talk about a ton of beer, man now there is a place that can brew some suds. Not to mention the tour is FREE.

So if any of you out there ever need medical treatment for your children, look into the Barn's Childrens hospital in St. Louis. It is top notch. It is good to be back home. No place like home. :thumb:

Now to get caught up on things around the house, the grass is so high. Yuck. If I could afford it Astro turf would be my lawn of choice.

Keep us updated as to how things go.  As I mentioned, my cousin had that surgery a few years back at the Cleveland Clinic.

Glad to hear that things went well...  Childrens Hospital is great!!!  I've had my son to the one in Pittsburgh several times for digeestive problems, and the people there are very genuine and really care about your childs health.
