All of the wires are hidden near the spare up underneath and behind the bumper. No pics at the moment. I did this all the time with my Ram because I ran a tailgate bar and mud flap LEDs.

Sorry if this is a dumb question. But isn't the link you provided something you plug one end into the light bar and then the other end into the pin sockets next to the rear plate?

I have this bar and the quality is great. Grab a Curt T connector to plug it in behind the bumper, and splice in reverse and you'll be good to go.

No dumb questions here.

I need to find my picture for my Ram. It'll show. It's a T harness. Connects between the truck and the 7/4 pin connector on the bumper, behind it. With that connected it gives you an extra 4 pin.

Yes the reverse still has to be wired but that's 1 out of 5. Use a T-tap and that'll make it easily removable.

Do you want the kind that mounts between the tailgate and the bumper like others have posted? Those are the most common but if you want something different Anzo makes one that mounts high on the tailgate (it replaces the black plastic spoiler that is currently there):

I just go an ANZO 60" 5 function (they offer a 4 and 6 function as well) and I really like it. Looks good, matches my stock lights pretty well and it was an easy install (as most light bars are).

The Anzo one I got was smoked and went in between my tailgate and bumper. but it fits perfectly between the gap so you can't really tell its there until it's on (or if you're looking right at it, it's not invisible just not eye catching without the lights)

I'm very interested in the opt7 Redline bar. I have an original line of fire led tailgate bar that I've had for 15 years. It still looks good, but it's starting to lose maybe 15-20% brightness. I've had really good luck with my other opt7 products so I hope I do with the tailgate light too.

I went the Opt7 with a Curt T-connector and am happy with the results thus far. First pic cargo/reverse lights and second is taillight only, sorry for poor pic quality.
