2016 Headrest

So does anyone else have issues with the headrests on the 2016 sticking too far forward with no way to adjust? It gives me crappy posture, like an airline seat. Not looking forward to long road trips with this set up.

 

Anybody found a way to get around this?

 

The lumbar support, adjusted all the way forward, stops about 1/2" from comfortable.

 

My 2004 was much more comfortable.

Are you sure it won't adjust? The driver seat headrest on my '14 1500 LT can adjust forward and backwards by just pushing on the back of the headrest.

Page 56 of the manual explains they are adjustable.

My manual only says it can be adjusted vertically.

 

What year is yours?

Just go out and push on the back of the headrest. You still push it forward to make it adjust back.

Well you forced me to go back and look, and you're right, up/down only.

 

My previous GM trucks both went up/down and front/back. Strange.

My 2014 had back and fourth adjustment the 16 does not, I am less than pleased about it.

Have you tried to lean the vertical part of the seat back just a little?

My 2005 2500hd had the most comfortable seats I ever sat in. My 2013 1500 ltz bucket seats were the worst I ever sat in. My 2015 seats are much better than my 2013. I lean my seat back a bit, so I never even touch my headrest.

2019 Silverado seats are the worst!  My Avalanche was way more comfortable!
