2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD Crew Cab DL8 to DL3 conversion

Hi everybody,

I'm new here. I just bought a new leftover 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 LT Crew. 45 miles on it. I had the DL8 mirrors with just power adjusting and heated. I bought 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 DL3 mirrors that only had a few hundred miles on them. They have power adjusting and heated, integrated signals and power folding along with puddle lamps. The guy even give me the wiring harness that come with them. I had to purchase the switch separate. Part # 23154702. The problem is, the turn signals work fine in the mirrors, but NO power fold and the mirror only adjusts up and down on the drivers side only. NO adjusting on passenger side what so ever. I noticed puddle lights work, not real bright, but they do come on. I took the truck to the dealer today and they said I'm pretty much SOL! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I just completed this conversion. I have 2016 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab LT that came with DL8 Mirrors. I bought a set of DL3 Mirrors off eBay with the harnesses. It took me about 1 weeks to get it all done, but in a nutshell, the new harnesses have the pins loaded, but not all of them. The reason they work on the truck they came from is because they have the seat memory switch. Those controls you are lacking are dependent on the pins for the seat memory switch (which you don't have). You'll have to wire it up. I just finished this conversion today and plan on having a detailed how to. It was a PITA. I had to use my existing harness, chew into them with side cutters to get the missing pins/wires needed for the new harness.
