2016 Short cab standard bed finished

Bought this 2016 Sieera with basic equipment as I knew I wanted to mod it slightly to my taste.

 

Let me know what you think. I'm super excited with it now.

 

The Boys at LHT did exactly what I wanted,they even got the exhaust tone right after some experimenting

 

Fill back bumper and paint

Color match front bumper

Window tint

Wet sand and polish paint ( Had runs and lots of orange peel)

De badge

Lower back 8" and front 3"

Change wheel to leather wrapped and hook up steering wheel controls

Side exit double tip exhaust with adaptive valve

20" wheels with Michelin sticker tires

It looks really good. Put the factory wheel well covers in the back so you don't see the red it the wheel wells. It will give it a better look. I did it in mine. here's a pic just for reference.

Yea, I asked them about that. It's due to go to Linex to get the bed done and I was debating about doing the wheel wells too.

^{Don't forget after you do the bed liner to get a tonneau cover. I wanted something low and clean and went with the Bakflip VP and I'm pretty happy with the clean look. I also did have a roll n lock on my other truck but just like the look of the VP a bit better.}

Looks awesome. How did they do the rear bumper? Does someone make filler panels for those bumpers or did they fab them from scratch?

They made custom stainless panels and welded them in.

That what I just said as I looked at that pic. And then scroll down and see u r comment. That's why I bought the 14 all terrain bumper cause doing all that work was more than the bumper.. but to the op... sweet truck.

Hi there, what was involved in upgrading the steering wheel, but more specifically getting the steering wheel controls to work? There is another thread on here with others who have bought the factory wheel and the controls don't work.... Any info is appreciated!
