Post pics of your Painted Headlights

Might be a long shot for a thread idea, but been contemplating painting the inside of my lights. Just thought people could share what they have seen or done themselves.

I had a guy in Ontario do mine matte black. He also cut out the reflector. He was unable to get the paint to adhere to the area where the turn signal bulb is,which might be okay cause it still helps reflect the turn signal.

 

On a side note if anyone would have any tips on sealing my head light up better that would be great. The thing has started fogging a year later.

Looks good man. Did you do them yourself? Curious as to what the prep/paint process was like.

I took them apart and took pieces apart and changed the Amber lense to clear, but actual painting I had a shop use a sprayer and use color match auto paint. I know they had to sand all the chrome before a primer promoter and then auto paint, and then a few coats of clear

I've wondered for a while if painting the portion directly around the projector lens with a shiny chrome would improve the side throw on these lights. Even after upgrading to HIDs on my 2014 SLT, I'm still not happy with the lack of light when making a turn and not being able to see the road onto which I'm turning.
