Need advice do i trade in or not

I've been considering trading as well, however I am 7 months into a 39 month lease. My payments are already pretty heavy, and I don't really want to take on much more, nor do i want to finance a ****ing vehicles for 7 years and pay a ridiculous interest rate. I am just so unhappy with my truck that I don't even want another GM - the shaking, vibrating, and pile of shit 5.3 grocery getter engine has driven me crazy for 6 out of the 7 months I've had it. I have almost started driving my wife's camry more often because it is a better ride, more comfortable, and is a lot more fun to drive (has the V6 and paddle shifters). I don't really know what to do, other than consider myself ****ed for another 32 months until I can unload it back to GM and walk away. I CAN say that I probably won't be buying another GM.

I I am sorry to hear that. I wish ya the best. I heard a tune makes these 5.3 engine better. I find their shifting on par with shit as well.

If you currently have a trouble free truck then it would be hard to let it go if it were me.

That's the part that holds me back as well. So far all the issues I've had have been fixable or not that much of a bother so why do I want to risk it. My truck has been good to me so far.

Totally agree with Daryl. My truck has been completely trouble free and the only way I could be baited into trading in for another one is if they made me an offer I did not have to think about, an offer I would be stupid to refuse. Anything less than me being able to brag about the ridiculous deal I made would not interest me at all.

If you can get him to knock that $17k difference down closer to a $9 or $10k difference, then you would not need to think about it for more than a minute. That's what I'm talking about.

Seems high to me as well I traded for 18k difference on my truck. I was going from a 2014 SLE Z71 Crew Cab with 6200 miles on it that I had Leather added too for my 2016 GMC Denali 6.2L. I felt like this was a decent trade for me if looking at the price difference for the SLE and Denali new. Of course my big push was wanting to go to a 6.2L
