When u refer to a blower as a "supporting mod" you MIGHT have a hp addiction lol

I have been running E85 for a few tanks and i live the way the truck feels. My tuner said if i ran strictly E85 he could pull more power out of it. But due to my work situation i dont know if E85 will be available in the areas i get sent to.

Were you tuned with a Diablosport? If not, there shouldn't be any issues for you to be optimized for both E85 and regular gas.

HPTuners.

And a strict E85 diet would net better gains as i wouldnt be switching between 91/93 and E85 every few tanks.

I blame work.... And anyone North of where 91 is considered "primium" lol. back home we have 93 as primium but not as much availability of E85.... Up here E85 is scarce and 91 is the highest.....

But hey.. . Ill take what i can get lol

If you have it set up to run E85, the computer can tell what % of ethanol is in the fuel and adjusts accordingly. So if he tuned it for E85 then it will adjust to what he set it to.

Provided that there is an alcohol sensor, correct.

Beautiful part about the 2014s is that the E85 was a widely implemented option if it wasnt standard. Mine and my girls 2014s are flexfuels

The thing to keep in mind when using E85, is that you have to run a few miles right after fill up (~7-10) when switching between that and regular gas. If not, your computer will not be running the system efficiently.

On on a stock truck with the ethanol sensor, the programming will adjust tune the the % ethanol measured by the sensor.

I have no idea if any of them do, but a 'tuned' truck could also make use of the sensor.

Correct. Just not all of them have that sensor. We have already tuned a few folks who have turned their vehicles into Flex Fuel, so it is certainly an option.

Some flex fuels in the earlier years, did not have the sensor.
