Other than modding my trucks i like to fix up and or mod guitars. Started out when i was younger but picked it up again a few months back. Usually just cheap pawn shop or craigslist finds but recently moved up to slightly more expensive ones. Wish i had pictures of some of the ones i did years ago but all i have are the ones i have done in the past year.

 

What got me started again was this one. Helped a friend move and found this cheapy Ibanez in the "to be trashed" pile. Needed cleaned up and re-set up:

 

Found this Bass at the pawn shop for $30. It was not in the best shape but something told me to get it, pretty much replaced everything except the neck and body:

 

Got a little braver with the next one, Made in Mexico Fender Strat Deluxe, got it for $300 on craigslist. Set up was crap on it but it was otherwise in good shape. New pickups, strings and set up and it was nice to play:

 

Havent done anything other than restring and set up on this one, just got it to see what all the hype was about. Nice but really heavy and the pickups are ok but not great. Chapman ML3-Modern:

 

Just got this one today, another MIM but little higher end, love the blue and the feel of the neck but hate the pickguard and the gold hardware so thats changing soon as the parts come in:

 

Sold the white strat and the little ibanez to get the blue strat lol.. its an endless cycle lol

Not as well as I want too but getting back into it again. Took lessons for a while years ago but gave it up due to an accident breaking my left hand, now im just tinkering around with tabs and you tube lol.

And done except i forgot to buy strings lol, changed all the hardware to black, tuning machines are black also. Didnt like the sound of the vintage noiseless pickups so swapped them out for texas specials. I'll get some string tomorrow and set it up. Got a plan in for all the gold hardware just gotta get yet another strat lol.
