I have a 2009 Chevy Silverado LT that has 265/70r17 seeing how big I could go. Maybe just a next size up. I don't want to take away to much of the handling!

^^^ What he said. If it's all stock, then 275/70/17 is the largest you can go. If you have a leveling kit, then 285/70/17 will fit and look good.

285/70/17 on factory 17x8" wheels cleared with no probs at stock height on my 2015 crew cab and even they looked too skinny

Sweet. It's cool that 285's will fit on the new trucks stock. That wasn't possible on the previous generation. Do you have mud flaps?

Whoops, missed the 2009' in the OP's original post. FWIW tho I had the same setup on my 2011 Sierra with adjustable bilsteins set on the third setting and they also cleared with no rubbing.... Also no mud flaps

I am seriously considering buying this size for my 2015 cc. Have you experienced any rubbing or any other differences from stock sized tires? Also, would you happen to have a picture or two?
