That stuff is nasty. I hate to think of what it does to the water supply.

You can try OOOO Steel wool before to help but Speedy will work well.I always use Sprayway foam window cleaner after using the speedy metal polish to clean up the residue. Always use both on any chrome on your truck. I have same {SLT trim} truck as you with same wheels and one use of speedy will go along way with sprayaway after. Good luck and hope I helped some.
