Windishield Wiper problem.

How you guys doing? I drive a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT. My windshield wipers won't work at all. Neither does the wiper fluid. I figured it might be the windshield wiper motor, but how do I know for certain it is. I do not want to buy the new motor and no fix. The lever does work for the rest of the functions, turn signals, high/lo beams, etc. Could it be a fuse, the windshield wiper transmission? Thanks in advance!

Turn the wipers on, and check for 12 volts and a good ground on the wiper motor. Might be quicker to just check the related fuse or fuses to rule that out 1st.
